today i bought a bunch of stuff for the trip; a macaroni & cheese colored toothbrush, mini toothpaste, new socks (thanks to nina stressing the importance of socks w/out holes in the toes, oops!) and a travel blowdryer at the thrift store for $3. oh yeah, and these "marshmallow" ipod headphones that liana said jeremy has that are super comfortable and work well. $20 for headphones? but if they will make the 18-hr flight more enjoyable, then whatever. i also scored some books that i now have duplicates of, but i figure i can read it on the plane, and then leave it in the front seat pocket for someone else to enjoy!
i am still really excited about this trip, just for the record.
